OPEN PRESCHOOL GYMNASTICS (walking-school age) Parents bring your tykes to the Wilton Branch for interactive free time on the gymnastics equipment. A great way to bond with your child while enjoying movement and being active together! Parents must directly supervise their children at all times. Parents and tots must remove their shoes before going on equipment.

HOMESCHOOL GYMNASTICS (5+ years) This is a great class for anyone who homeschools their children! We offer a 60 minute long, fitness based gymnastics class that is designed to increase balance, flexibility, coordination, agility, and strength as well as promote fun getting to know other students! • Max. 8 • Spring 2 • Tuesday, 10:00-11:00 am

SCHOOL AGE BEGINNER GYMNASTICS (5 years and older–must be in kindergarten or above) Improve balance and coordination in a fun setting! Great for beginners or experienced gymnasts who need to improve on basic gymnastics skills. Teaches USA Gymnastics Junior Olympic Pre-Level 1 and Level 1 skills.

SCHOOL AGE INTERMEDIATE GYMNASTICS (6-11 years) For children who have a minimum of a year’s experience in gymnastics classes, and are looking to further develop their gymnastics skills. This class will teach the level 2 skills set by the USA Gymnastics Junior Olympic program. Pre-qualifications: Floor- forward and backward rolls (tuck and straddle), vertical cartwheel with straight legs, bridge, and a backbend with little help on the floor. Bars- front support, casts, swing and regrasp, forward roll dismount, pullover and back hip circle with or without spot. Beam- safe mount, know their walks, jumps, v-sit, scale, rolls forwards and backwards with or without spot.

Children will have fun and expand their motor skills while introducing some beginning, level 1 gymnastics skills. In this longer class we will also spend time exploring movement on the balance beams and bars! Gymnastics Attire: For safety, girls wear a leotard. Shorts over the leotard are optional, but must be removed for some events. Boys wear shorts and a t-shirt.
