NEW - Saratoga Regional YMCA’s Youth Soccer (Futsal) League
Saratoga Regional YMCA Youth Soccer (Futsal) League is kicking up its first season. This league is open for boys’ and girls’, grades 3rd, 4th, and 5th. All skill levels are welcome...Registration opens up on Tuesday, August 5th. Registration packets must be completed and returned to the front desk prior to try outs. Try outs will be held Tuesday, September 9th from 5:30pm-7:30pm at the Wilton Branch Field House. Players will be placed on teams and practices will begin the week after try outs. Practices will be held on Tuesdays between 5:30pm-8:30pm. Games will be held on Saturdays from 12:00pm-4:00pm, starting Saturday September 20th. Pee Wee Kickers (3-4 years)
This class is a great introduction to the sport of soccer. Y Staff and coaches lead players in games and drills designed to introduce basic skills such as kicking, passing, dribbling and shooting on goal. This program encourages parental involvement to coach, guide, and assist their children in developing the knowledge and skills necessary to enhance their progress. Children should wear sneakers. Shin-guards are not required.
Mini Kickers Soccer (5-7)
This is a soccer program for both boys and girls which focuses on playing as a team and skill development. Y Staff and volunteer coaches lead players in games and drills designed to introduce basic skills such as kicking, passing, dribbling and shooting on goal. Parents are encouraged to be more than spectators by participating as volunteer coaches as well as being their child’s biggest fan. Children should wear sneakers and bring a water bottle. Shin-guards are not required.
All Stars Soccer (8-10 years)
This is a program for both boys and girls who want to take their skills to the next level. Players will continue developing fundamental soccer skills such as kicking, passing, dribbling, and shooting while using good sportsmanship, teamwork, strategy and the four core values of responsibility, honesty, respect, and caring. Coaches will begin teaching and emphasizing the rules of the game during mini-scrimmages at the end of practices.
Saratoga Regional YMCA’s Youth Soccer (Futsal) League
This new league is kicking up its first season. This league is open for boys’ and girls’, grades 3rd, 4th, and 5th. All skill levels are welcome.
