SARATOGA NATIONAL LITTLE LEAGUE® EXPANDS BOUNDARIES TO COVER ALL OF SARATOGA SPRINGS SCHOOL DISTRICT – NOW SARATOGA SPRINGS LITTLE LEAGUE® JANUARY 10, 2017: After more than six decades of Saratoga Springs split into two separate Little League® charters, it was announced that the city will now be united as one Little League®. Saratoga National Little League, formerly covering just the West Side of Saratoga Springs, Ballston Spa and Greenfield, has expanded its boundaries to include all league-aged kids who live within the Saratoga Springs School District.

April - June, plus Fall Ball (Sept - Oct)
Registration dates:
Sign-ups for Spring Season begin in Jan/Feb. Sign-up by March.
Sign-ups for Fall Ball in August.

Frequency of Practice and Games:
Games are typically on Saturdays and one weeknight (as the kids get older) with practice each week.

Saratoga Stars Youth Travel Baseball is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization established & dedicated to offer Saratoga Springs Little League baseball players an opportunity to develop and improve their baseball abilities, teamwork & sportsmanship. The travel baseball program independently supplements the Saratoga Springs Little League rec program to offer additional practice and gameplay against competitive travel teams in the area. The team name celebrates the rich baseball heritage of this area & dates back to one of the original professional baseball teams in Saratoga Springs, NY in the 1800's. All players must try-out and be selected to join a team. Tryouts are generally held in January for the spring season and in August for the fall season. Spring participation in Saratoga Springs Little League is a requirement to play on a Saratoga Stars team. For more information visit www.saratogastars.org

League Ages:
- TEE BALL DIVISION: An entry level division for players League Age 4-6, in Kindergarten or younger. Players must be 4 years old before May 1st, 2016 in order to register for T-ball. This division is designed for children with little or no experience.
- BANTAM DIVISION: (Coach Pitch). An instructional division for players League Age 6-7, typically in Kindergarten or 1st grade. Players Age 5 who are in Kindergarten and have one year of T-Ball experience may play in this division.
- MINOR LEAGUE AA DIVISION: (Machine Pitch) An instructional division for players who are League Age 7-8 and in 2nd or 3rd grade. Players who are League Age 9 can play in this division upon request and with the approval of the Player Agent.
- MINOR LEAGUE AAA DIVISION: (Player Pitch) A competitive division for players who are League Age 9-10 and in 3rd, 4th or 5th grade. Players Age 8 with at least one year of experience at the Minor League AA level may be eligible to play in this division based on enrollment, player safety and player ability. Under certain circumstances, (ability, experience), Players Age 11 can play in this division with the approval of the Player Agent.
- MAJOR LEAGUE DIVISION: A competitive division for players who are League Age 11-12 and in 5th, 6th and 7th grade. Players Age 10 may be eligible to play in this division based on enrollment, player safety and player ability.
- INTERMEDIATE (50/70) DIVISION: A competitive division for players who are League Age 13 and in 7th or 8th grade.
