Overview:
Saratoga Springs Pop Warner (SSPW) is a non-profit organization organized under Pop Warner Little Scholars, Inc. serving the greater Saratoga Area including Saratoga Springs, Wilton, Greenfield, Corinth and other communities that do not have a Pop Warner program.
SSPW is part of the of the Capital District Pop Warner Federation and plays with programs from Albany, Averill Park, Bethlehem, Burnt Hills, Colonie, Columbia, Helderberg, East Greenbush, Greene County, Guilderland, Niskayuna, North Columbia, North Colonie, Ravena, Rotterdam, Saratoga, Schenectady, South Glens Falls, South Troy, Troy, and Watervliet.
Registration Dates:
Registrations open in April. Register online at Online Registration.
Ages:
Football: interested flag and tackle football players between the ages 5-15 as of July 31st of this year.
Flag Football: 5 to 7 years old
Tackle Football: 8 to 15 years old play
Mitey Mites: ages 7, 8 & 9
Jr. Pee Wee: ages 8, 9 & 10
Jr. Pee Wee: age 11, Older/Lighter
Pee Wee: ages 9, 10 & 11
Pee Wee: age 12 Older/Lighter
Cheer: interested cheerleaders between the ages 5-15 as of July 31st of this year
Flag Football Cheer
Mitey Mites Cheer: ages 7, 8 & 9
Jr. Pee Wee: ages 8, 9 & 10 & 11
Pee Wee: ages 9, 10 & 11, 12 & Older
(Football Games plus Cheer Competitions)
Location:
East Side Recreation Field
Frequency of Practice and Games:
Tackle Football will start on early August.
Flag Football will start later in August.
Amount of travel:
Most games are held within an hour of Saratoga Springs with half of all games home at the East Side Rec field.
Registration costs:

$65 for Flag Football/Cheer; $90 for Tackle Football
