Hi, I'm Lexie and this is my husband, Peter. We believe that youth sports should be a happy time for kids to grow, experience and enjoy. That is why we have created Be Sport Happy for our four beautiful and active young kids, Lira, Pisa, Cesidio and Giovanni.
As a native of Saratoga Springs, I grew up surrounded by outdoor play and organized sports (you can read about my lifetime of sports involvement on my sports resume). When I met my husband ten years ago, we were both very athletic and knew that our kids would someday be active in many local sports. We knew we wanted our kids to be a part of a strong community of Saratoga's active sports families. But as we started to sign our kids up for sports, we realized it was difficult to learn about all the sports this amazing city has to offer and that there was no central community where organizations or families could share information, exchange sports equipment or rally around a central theme. We also found that parents came to us to get information because we were always researching the next sport, registration deadline, age group, or event. So, we've decided to build this community ourselves.
