Tball is ages 4-6, and is where the players hit off of a tee. Games last for an hour. Each inning, every player gets a chance at bat.

Bantam is ages 7-9. 6 year olds can play bantam if they have a year of TBall experience. A step up from TBall, players hit off a soft toss pitching machine. Each half inning is played until 3 outs or until each player has one chance at bat.

Traditionally, Minors is ages 8-10 and Majors is ages 11-12. Regular baseball rules apply at these levels. Prior to the start of the season, there is a skills assessment to determine a players' level of ability so they are placed in the appropriate division and there is an even distribution of abilities across each team.

Field Location:
The end of Pleasant Street in Saratoga Springs (Division Street School fields).

Frequency of Practice and Games:

Games are scheduled every Saturday and at least one weeknight. Practices are at the discretion of the coach and are more frequent as the players get older. Participation in practices, as well as games, is necessary to maintain status as a player.

Other time commitments:
In addition to the games and practices, each family registered is required to staff the concession stand for a game.   A schedule is distributed at the beginning of the season.

(To keep baseball affordable for families with multiple children participating, there is a discount for each additional child per family.  The fee for play for a second child is $30 and a third child is $20.)

Total due at registration for 1 child/family is $115 for Tball and $150 for all other divisions.
Total due at registration for 2 children/family is $180.

Each family is required to pre pay for $50 of raffle tickets at registration. The raffle tickets will be available during the first week of the season.  (You can earn back that $50 by selling those raffle tickets if you choose.
Each family is required to provide a $25 concession stand deposit fee.  When you work your concession stand volunteer commitment, which is working the concession stand for 1 game during the season, you will receive that deposit back.  Failure to work the concession stand during the season results in forfeiture of that deposit fe

Equipment Needed:
The league will supply the uniforms (consisting of a shirt, one pair of pants and a hat), bats and helmets. A player can always use his/her own helmet and/or bat, as long as the equipment is compliant with Little League rules. Players do need to supply his/her own glove. Although not required, plastic molded cleats are recommended. A protective cup is also recommended for all male players, and is a requirement for those playing the catcher's position.
